• DATS 250: Data Science Capstone

  The Data Science Capstone course aims at providing students with an opportunity to integrate and apply the algorithms, methods, and tools they have learned throughout the program to solve a real-world data analysis problem that have an interdisciplinary nature. Students will conduct a project that involves the analysis of data while applying the main aspects of the data science life cycle using appropriate statistical methods for analysis. Students may work in collaboration with a local company or organization or they can create a project based on data already collected. The students will submit a consolidated report and give a presentation at the conclusion of the project. The course serves as a final preparation for students entering the profession of data science
