This course will study the disruptive information technologies that are under the grid and have transformed the production, marketing, sale, and distribution of goods, products, and services. The forces that drive e-commerce, such as competition, globalization, logistics, supply chain management, and the technological revolution, will be studied for their impact on consumerism, businesses, and "brick-and-mortar" enterprises. Case studies will be utilized to understand electronic infrastructures' nature, implementation, and application and the critical factors contributing to success in the e-commerce marketplace.
